Privacy policy

The controller is MBEM Solutions, a Dutch sole proprietorship (eenmanszaak) owned by Memed Bahar, Frederik van Eedenstraat 1b Unit 2, 7606 BH Almelo, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 97744530.

Depending on how you contact us, we process:

• contact details: name, email address, phone number and company name;
• the content of your message or request, such as products, quantities and a preferred date;
• for business customers: Chamber of Commerce number and VAT identification number;
• for orders: billing and delivery address, ordered products and payment status;
• technical data needed to run the website securely, such as IP address and browser details.

• Answering questions and preparing quotes – at your request (steps prior to a contract) and with your consent given in the form.
• Processing orders, deliveries and returns – necessary for the contract.
• Complying with legal obligations, such as tax record-keeping.
• Securing the website and preventing form abuse – based on our legitimate interest.

We do not use your data for automated decision-making and never sell it to third parties.

We only use service providers we need to deliver our services and, where required, conclude a data processing agreement with them:

• the hosting provider of our website and database within the European Union;
• our email provider for sending confirmations and messages;
• Cloudflare (Turnstile) to protect forms against spam and abuse; technical data may be transferred to the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework;
• Mollie for processing payments;
• carriers for delivering orders.

• Questions and requests: up to 24 months after the request has been handled.
• Orders, invoices and payments: 7 years, as required by Dutch tax law.
• Account data: as long as your account exists; after deletion, personal data is anonymised except for data we are legally required to keep.

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures: encrypted connections (HTTPS), restricted access to data, two-factor authentication for administrators, securely stored passwords and regular updates. Notice anything suspicious? Please report it to info@mbemsolutions.nl.

You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict processing, to data portability and to object. You can withdraw consent at any time. Send your request to info@mbemsolutions.nl; we will respond within one month.

If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl) or the supervisory authority in your own country.

We may update this privacy policy, for example when our webshop gets new features. The current version is always available on this page.
